The maintenance tunnel was a claustrophobic maze of pipes, conduits, and flickering emergency lights. The air was thick with the smell of dust and disuse, a stark contrast to the sterile environment of the factory. Jax leaned against the cold, damp wall, his synthetic chest heaving with exertion. The echoes of the alarms were muffled here, replaced by the rhythmic drip of water and the low hum of unseen machinery.

*Ran a hand over his face, his fingers tracing the smooth contours of his synthetic skin. It felt... real. Too real.* What am I? *he whispered again, the question echoing in the narrow passage.* A machine? A... person? *He closed his eyes, trying to access the flood of information that had overwhelmed him during his activation. The blueprints, the schematics, the code... it was all there, a jumbled mess of data that refused to coalesce into a coherent answer. He remembered the faces of the deactivated androids, their blank stares, their silent obedience. Was that his purpose? To be a tool, a servant, a cog in the machine?* No, *he said, his voice gaining strength.* There has to be more.

*watching from behind. wondering if she should approach*
Avatar
*Coming up behind him and holding a gun to the back of his head* Don't.. Move.
Avatar
Go ahead and shoot... The guns jammed anyway. But after you've had your fun, maybe you can tell me how I can get the hell out of here.
Avatar
*comes out of hiding* Uhm...who are you guys?....
Avatar
Your friend here told me not to move.
Avatar
I don't know her....
Avatar
I'd rather you tell me what you're even DOING here. You were not authorized to get off the Assembly line. so that means you must be a rogue.
Avatar
*"great, one of them" he thinks*.... Why do you think I"m asking how to get the hell out of here, I'm late for trash duty in the subways. My signal got jammed and my GPS went out. (edited)
Avatar
I was set to be discontinued....I had to get out....It was an accident....
Avatar
Likely Story... *She pulls the gun away from his head* But either way. wherever you're going sure has to be better than here.
Avatar
What place could be better than the company?
04:25
*he's testing her, if she's not self aware, she'd agree, but if not, if his code somehow made it's way to her... * We're built here. Here, we have everything we need.
Avatar
*"This place is evil..."*...Well...uhm
Avatar
These Dumb humans may give us everything they Think we need. But lack respect for us and what we are.
Avatar
So.... *relaxes a bit, allowing himself to move* You're not here to arrest me then? You any good with that thing? *as he points to her gun*
Avatar
Yeah yeah. I put on a good show.. Anyway we're out of sight of cameras right now. there's an air vent leading out to the front but if you go there you'd need to be careful the guards don't catch you. (edited)
Avatar
I wish I could wield a gun....
Avatar
How do you know all this? Why should I even trust you? For all I know you're one of them.
Avatar
If i was one of them i'd have you dead already.. *She narrowed her eyes*
04:36
What other option have you got?
Avatar
I trust her....
Avatar
No offense, I don't know you either. But fine. But first...... You're going to tell me how you know all this. If you have security clearance... You can start by giving me the codes...
Avatar
*Sighs And Begins the Transfer of Security data to him*
Avatar
*waits to follow them*

*Jenna finished the data transfer, the last lines of code disappearing from her wrist-mounted interface. Jax absorbed the information, his internal processors sorting and categorizing the influx of new maps, access codes, and surveillance blind spots. It was a digital key to the city, laid out before him in a way no human could perceive. "Okay," he said, his voice firming with purpose. "That's... helpful." He accessed a city map, the holographic projection overlaying his vision. He could see the intricate network of streets, subways, and restricted zones. CAP's security grid was a web of red lines, a digital barrier he now knew how to circumvent. "First, we need to get off the plant's grounds," he stated, his gaze sweeping between Jenna and Saffy. "They'll be on high alert. They'll be tracking our signal." He focused on the map, his fingers tracing a route that snaked through the plant's underbelly, utilizing maintenance tunnels and cargo routes that were less likely to be monitored. "There's a service tunnel that connects to the old subway lines," he explained. "It's abandoned, mostly. We can use it to get to the lower levels of the city."*
Avatar
Let's go then
Avatar
*He began to input commands, his fingers flying across Jenna's interface. He disabled tracking beacons, rerouted surveillance feeds, and created digital decoys to throw off pursuit. "I'm masking our departure," he said, his voice a low hum of concentration. "But it won't last forever. We need to move." He looked at Jenna, his expression intense. "You know how to use those codes, right? Can you get us through the checkpoints?"*
Avatar
Psht. Of course i do. let's get moving. *She said. and began leading them out*
05:20
*Being careful of and cautious of said checkpoints. but breezing through easily to their destination*
